We are going to climb a creater mountain, mount Longonot. mount Longonot hike is a challenging hike but the feeling of completing the hike is so fulfilling. it is not easy to reach the top, yes it is not for the faint hearted. The mount Longonot park operates from 6am to 6pm. Charges for citizens are Ksh 250 per adult and Ksh 200 per child. Non citizens pay USD 20 per adult and USD 15 per child. Tips. The hike difficulty is rated easy to moderate, you need water and energy drinks, don't forget snacks. just don't carry non-reusable plastics because they are not allowed in the pack. A hat and sunscreen are essential for this hike because the weather is mostly sunny. Sometimes it rains. This hike you dont need a guide, but a good team will cheer you up, so hike in a team.
