We got this Maestro WU BO-2 3.5" folding knife that is about 4 years old. Seems the owner did some prying or dropped it. We won't judge. The good news is they knew enough to send it to us for repairs. Since there was about 1 cm broken off the tip, we needed to make sure the repair would not expose the tip above the scales when closed, so we took down the swedge from the spine and brought up the tip to meet in the middle, which would let the blade rest safely in the scales when closed, and still maintain the original look without removing too much edge material. We used a 4x36 belt grinder with a 120 Ceramic belt, and then cleaned it up with an A30 trizact, give it a buffing to clean it up and bring back the factory sharp edge.
