In the summer of 1979 a ship appeared in a small tidal dock on the North Wales Coast at Llanerch-y-Mor. For a period of time she was a very successful tourist attraction incorporating restaurants, a cinema, games, a market hence she became the third most popular tourist attraction in North Wales. In 1984 the 'funship' was forced to close down due to a low railway bridge making access for the emergency services impossible.
