ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES! We had to move sites.. Northern Territory

Welcome back! This week we head into Mataranka with our Next Gen Ford Ranger and Network RV caravan, getting in early to stay at the Bitter springs cabin and camping which is a short walk to Bitter springs thermal pool. Bitter springs is one of our favourite thermal pools, a very cool lazy river to relax and float along. Definitely one you need to do a couple of laps at. Next up is a walk at Elsey National park to Korowan / Mataranka falls, a 8km return walk along the river to a short but long waterfall although it feels very croccy... we later find out the walk is closed online although no signage on the tracks. We cook up some pizzas for dinner in the airfryer. Mataranka Thermal pools is next up a short walk to some made made pools very relaxing to float around in, with some cool information and you can see the water from its source. Making our way further north to Katherine we pull into the Katherine Farm Stay, a great park out of town, although our first site causes us some damage so we quickly move sites while chelsea is in the middle of things. If you don't laugh about it you'll cry.. Bryce cooks up a roast lamb to make us feel better and it comes up a treat. We go for a walk at the low level bridge all the way to the katherine hot springs.
