Buttocks & Hip Floor Workout | Flex Day - 15 NoStanding*| *Beginner Friendly | Sri Bodygranite Absolutely! Activating your buttocks muscles can indeed work wonders for your hips and overall lower body strength and stability. Here's a simple but effective buttocks activation routine you can try: Glute Bridges: Lie on your back with your knees bent and feet flat on the floor. Press through your heels to lift your hips off the ground until your body forms a straight line from your shoulders to your knees. Squeeze your buttocks at the top, then lower back down with control. Repeat for 10-15 reps. Clamshells: Lie on your side with your hips and knees bent, one leg stacked on top of the other. Keeping your feet together, open your top knee as far as you can without rotating your pelvis. Pause for a moment, then return to the starting position. Aim for 10-15 reps on each side. Squats: Stand with your feet hip-width apart, toes pointed slightly outwards. Lower your body by pushing your hips back and bending your knees, as if you're sitting back into a chair. Keep your chest up and your weight in your heels. Push through your heels to return to the starting position, squeezing your glutes at the top. Aim for 10-15 reps. Donkey Kicks: Start on all fours with your wrists under your shoulders and knees under your hips. Keeping your knee bent, lift one leg up behind you until your thigh is parallel to the ground, keeping your back straight. Squeeze your buttocks at the top, then lower back down. Do 10-15 reps on each side. Perform each exercise for the recommended number of reps, and aim for 2-3 sets in total. Focus on engaging your buttocks muscles throughout each movement for maximum activation. And remember to listen to your body and stop if you feel any pain or discomfort.
