Phoenix Police Release Bodycam Footage of Officer-Involved Shooting The Phoenix Police Department released bodycam footage of a June 14, 2020, incident involving 55-year-old Jon David Brouseau. Around 7:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man armed with a knife threatening customers at a grocery store near 43rd Avenue and Union Hills. When officers arrived, witnesses pointed to Brouseau, who was walking through the parking lot with the knife. Despite repeated commands to drop the weapon, Brouseau refused, threatened to kill the officer, and eventually charged at her. The officer fired her weapon, striking Brouseau.
