Relson Gracie, the second son of the Master Helio Gracie, that was responsible for spreading Jiu-Jitsu in Brazil, and he and his children, including Relson, were responsible for spreading Jiu-Jitsu throughout the world. Relson began training at the age of 2 and always knew he wanted to make Jiu-Jitsu his life, becoming an undefeated fighter throughout his career and also engaging in fights to defend his family's legacy whenever necessary. Relson never fought for money, only for honor. He was known as the "champion" because besides being undefeated, he would submit his opponents with the cross choke or armlock, and even though his opponents knew this, they always ended up tapping due to his perfection in execution. For 22 years, Relson systematically submitted his opponents one by one, maintaining an impeccable and still unmatched record to this day. Relson's Jiu-Jitsu goes far beyond competitions, he breathes and lives Jiu-Jitsu. Renowned for having a complete Jiu-Jitsu repertoire, his techniques were tested in the heat of battle, in no-rules fights, in rings or in academies. Always following his father's advice, he tirelessly repeated all the positions from the manual and continues to do so to this day, becoming a Jiu-Jitsu encyclopedia in his own right. Relson is one of the foremost references in personal defense in the United States, Brazil, and around the world, serving as an instructor for important American institutions such as the FBI, DEA, Secret Service, and others worldwide. His fighting style is geared towards life-or-death situations, providing him comfort in extremely stressful circumstances, and also offering significant assistance to professional fighters who have the utmost respect for the work Relson has done in his life. They continue to reach out to him, seeking his realistic teachings. No less important than his brilliant journey in the world of combat, Relson always emphasizes the importance of a balanced and healthy diet, the same diet that his father and family still adhere to today.
