The challenge of sustainable transport in metropolitan areas boils down to one question: what kind of city do we want to live in? About #EuropeOnTheMove: #SustainableMobility has become a buzzword. But its opportunities and challenges are complex and evolving. What modes of transport are truly sustainable? What implications does sustainable mobility hold for the different regions, sectors and actors of society, particularly in the South of Europe, a key region in the EU's #decarbonisation plans. GEF has asked experts and activists working on a myriad of topics, from #Cycling to #ElectricVehicles, from energy system transitions to critical minerals mining, and from metropolitan to ultra-peripheric regions, about their views on how the #GreenDeal should ensure a just mobility transition for all.
