After 1.5 months under the knife, I took the M3 back out to Poconos North/South with a brand new track setup! Obviously have a lot to learn: the track and the car's limits. Going forward, I think I have some drivetrain noise I need to look into - perhaps a carbon fiber 1-piece driveshaft for less rotational mass so faster acceleration and more power to the wheels.
