Learn some BSL signs for around the house. The sign for 'toilet' has many regional variations, so you may have seen or be familiar with another sign different to the one in this video. Some signs such as 'fridge' use the handshape you would use for opening the fridge door (known as a classifier). This classifier can used for other signs too, such as 'cupboard'. Lip pattern and context are therefore important. As you learn more about BSL, you can use classifiers to convey more information contained within the same sign, e.g. a top/high cupboard could be signed by raising the sign for cupboard higher within your signing space.
