Note: I would recommend to use headphones to hear the kickdown, the axles on this bus are very loud! ---------- During my 15 day break from YouTube, I decided to get rid of my intro as part of a channel revamp, feeling that it doesn't quite fit. I'd rather get straight into the action than have to keep editing in 20 useless seconds of it. Any effect on subscriber rate doesn't worry me as I've learnt over the years this channel is just for my, and hopefully your enjoyment! The thumbnail style has also been changed. Anyway, onto the subject of the video, these DOE's are fading rapidly off the road after the steady introduction of new 'Ee' buses to A depot, ridding Sutton's bus network of most of its character. It will be a big shame to see the last ones leave. Here, we have DOE5, featuring some very audible axles, but also coupled with a fast and somewhat frantic driver, who tried to use kickdown as much as he could, such as undertaking a car and purposefully braking and accelerating around speed cameras. I eventually aim to get a journey with kickdown on all Sutton routes - this video ticks off the 80, I have 213 and 151 already, so for now it will be 93 and 154 that I'll focus on.
