How much of my thesis have I written? And what the dickens is this Potential Vorticity thing?? Before people ask - NO, I won't be giving out my background chapter just yet! When it's finished and finalised for printing maybe then :P With that out the way I hope you enjoyed hearing about the experience of writing my PhD thesis! It's difficult to take such an abstract concept in the field and make it understandable to people without a background in atmospheric physics but I gave it my best shot!
