This video is a tour of the filming locations for the 1960 film "Hito wa Arukeba" and the second half "Aki ni Tachinu". First, we visit Karasumori Shrine, a shrine in Shinbashi that was used as a filming location for "Hito wa Arukeba". The main hall and surrounding area have been renovated, and it feels like it has changed a lot since then. In particular, the passageway from the torii gate to the main hall feels very narrow compared to the film, but we have somehow identified the filming locations for the film. Next is Shinkanbashi in Ginza, and near this bridge was the building used as the filming location for the detective agency. Both the bridge and the building have changed, and there is now a highway entrance halfway across the bridge, so there is almost no trace of the original. Next is a consideration of the filming location of "Ranroso", the bed house where Keima (Frankie Sakai) stayed after running away from home. Based on the position of the Tokyo Gas chimney in the background, we think the location is near Shinonome in Koto Ward. Finally, the location where Junko and Hideo were running in the film "Aki ni Tachinu". We can also see the Tokyo Gas chimney in the background at this location, so we believe that the location was in Ariake, Koto Ward. We also inferred the location of the coastline that the two of them were looking at from an aerial photograph taken at the time.
