SINGLE SKIN Flight from EIGER 🍄

First Flight attempt with the Single Skin from the Mushroom on the Eiger! When Freddy first let me try the Single Skin in China, I was blown away by how such a simple, minimalist piece of fabric could actually fly. So when he later came to Lauterbrunnen Valley with more prototypes and lent me one to practice with, I couldn’t resist taking it to the most iconic jump in the area: the Mushroom. I went up solo, since everyone was saying it would be cloudy, but somehow I knew it was going to be a perfect and beautiful day up there. At the exit I met a couple of alpinists who had spent the night on the ledge, so in the end I didn’t jump entirely alone. At that point I was still figuring out the angle of attack on the Single Skin. In fact, this was my first time taking it on a big jump, until then I’d only flown it in Nizhuhe and around the Valley. I was trying to fly as far as possible, but without much speed, so I’m sure there’s still a lot of room for improvement.
