We hope this video will show you in great detail how far we actually go when we refurbish every heater we sell. Unlike others who often copy our descriptions to fool buyers into buying! You will see in this and all our video's the real items are matched with our own descriptions! Although we mainly work on Eberspacher items, we are an independent business and as such. Do not have to bow too many of the idiots in Eberspacher UK ltd who like to price fix everything they sell in the UK! We can not comment on the German side of the company, but if they view this video then I hope too hear from them soon! As you will see in this video, it should show. We know what we are doing and we do like early Webasto heaters like this for their engineering! Sorry to say, we are not so keen on later air heaters as the plastics they used where not up to the job? We are always honest and unbiased on our findings! With this heater, we where amazed they used single metal shielded bearings? We have upgraded all these to metal and rubber sealed bearings as the carbon brush dust in the motors causes the back bearings to fail. For the sake of a few £'s more, that saves your £500 plus water pump! From an engineering point of view, I do like the combustion chamber compared to a normal house diesel boiler as it makes full use of the heat transfer. I would be tempted to pop on of these in my home as it's only 3 kw under the gas boiler! I have tested many Eberspacher heaters on real bio-diesel, but I can't give the thumbs up on any! Screens block up in a couple of days and then the heaters coke up with carbon after a couple of weeks! As this heater has a real jet and better still a pre-jet heater when the temperature is at 0c it may just work ok on bio? If I had another one, then I would test and report real findings. The combustion chamber is very easy to service, two nuts and you have access to the pulling the flame tube out. This part can be seen in the pictures. As with all the items we sell, we can always customise wiring and many other requirements to suit your installation. Just say hello! Best Regards, Robert
