Fall is a good time of year to get back into hiking longer distances, but I wanted to look into getting the dog something that he can haul his gear- so I got him a Granite Gear Alpha Dog pack. Along with Fetchtech's collar & leash system, I think I got his setup pretty much in place. I just need to fill out his pack! So far after a few shorter hikes (under 10k), I need to look closer at balancing his pack better and making sure he has everything he would need.
