Honking Ka Boycott 13 year olds Observing the noise pollution around their school, students decided to spread awareness about the importance of no-horn zones near schools, colleges, hospitals and religious centres. The students attended a seminar conducted by Traffic Police officials in order to understand the challenges faced by their department. Placards, posters, car hangings and fake chalans were made by the students for their parents and van drivers. With the permission of the traffic police, the students went out to the main Abdullah Haroon road and conducted an awareness campaign about no horn zones. Chalans were given to those guilty of increasing noise pollution. This week long activity produced positive results and helped in creating awareness about the importance of patience while driving.
