Liminal spaces that are slowly getting more unsettling

Liminal spaces' is a term used to describe transitional or threshold places that evoke feelings of uncertainty, disorientation, and emotional tension. These are the spaces between two distinct states or locations, between different 'realms', or even between life and death. The word liminality comes from the Latin 'limen' that means 'a threshold' in between past, present and future. These desolate places often evokes emotions like eeriness, unease, nostalgia, comforting and some unsettling feelings. And these places often brings us memories from our childhood.
