Beware of Harley WHIM Headset Module Firmware Update! Missing Boom Box Configuration Menu!

Since updating my Harley-Davidson Wireless Headset Interface Module “WHIM” to the latest version 1.1.4 firmware I have been having problems. My Harley stamped Sena 30k mesh & 20s wireless Bluetooth headsets will pair & I can hear music, however, the status and configuration menu tab in the Harley Boom Box menu are missing along with other audio settings. Also, each time I go into the Boom Box wireless headset menu it shows it’s disabled and I have to enable it again. After much testing, I decided to revert to an older WHIM firmware update, version 1.0.2 and it immediately fixed the problem on two separate WHIM modules I was testing. Clearly, version 1.1.4 is corrupt and can break your WHIM. I really hope this helps many in the biker community diagnose and fix this issue.
