Hello, it’s Aejeong 🤓 Today I made Japanese-style steak! I was watching Choo Sung-hoon’s YouTube and the brown sauce looked so good! But there wasn’t a clear recipe, so I tried making it my own way. I made it a little salty to go with rice — and that was the best decision! I couldn’t stop eating... the rice just disappeared 😂 I cooked the sirloin to medium rare, so it was super tender, and the juice from the meat combined with the sauce was just amazing. The sauce had a unique flavor I’d never had before, but it was surprisingly delicious! It paired perfectly with the meat, but honestly, it was a total rice-stealer on its own too haha. It might not taste like the real sauces from Japanese restaurants, but I’m very happy with how it turned out!
