On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, join us in celebrating 75 innovative solutions from 51 countries that break down barriers to Accessibility, Information and Communication Technology (ICT), and Crisis Response. In addition, seven inclusive arts initiatives have been selected as the first cohort of Zero Project Arts Awardees. From wheelchair innovations to improving access to healthcare services, and from avatars facilitating communication access to innovative public-sector policies; from women-centred crisis-response efforts to accessibility standards, the 2026 Awardees offer a wide variety of scalable solutions advancing the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), standing out for their innovation, impact, and scalability. The Awardees will present their innovative solutions at the Zero Project Conference 2026 (#Zerocon26), February 18-20, 2026, at the United Nations Office at Vienna. 📢 Join us in spreading the word about their innovative solutions. Your words of encouragement mean the world to our Awardees, who tirelessly work toward creating a world with #ZeroBarriers.
