Heidily-Ho, folks! In today’s video, 3 members of Absolute Justice who I haven’t used in a while will get their opportunity to shine as they take on 3 edits of Homer, one I’ve seen Spiral Buster fight, one with a DaMarioMemer AI Patch, and a Spriteswap I’ve fought in the past. This was not an easy one, specifically the last two weren’t but you get the picture. And so, the mission begins… Absolute Justice Presents: "Hatched from an egg for Bart" All songs are from the Simpsons Arcade Game Match 1 Starring: Reiko (Neokamek) Opponent: Peak De La Comedia (Warner, edited by Basara-Kun) Stage: Springfield Elementary (HomebodySomebody) Music: Robots Let’s start off with a weird edit that @Spiral_Buster fought, coming from someone who actually makes good characters but for a joke edit, this one isn’t really that funny and a rare miss from the author, Basara-Kun, but the story behind it is more interesting than the character itself. This character was based off a whatsapp meme where they took moans from an adult actress named Alexis Texas and filtered the OG Latin American voice actor for Homer over it (That’s the story straight from the readme of the character. I wish I was making this up…) The result isn’t as peak comedy as it presents itself, rather these are sounds out of a rejected Courage the Cowardly Dog episode. Other than that, it’s just the same character as the original updated Homer from Warner but with these unholy sounds replacing the original sounds. Consider this a filler spot as I got the chance to practice my combo and spacing game with Reiko, even managing a double flawless on him, so I guess this one was worth my time, but now I know how Batman and Robin felt on Whose Line during Sound Effects, having to hear “Ooh” throughout… Match 2 Starring: Sailor Jupiter (NapoleonJonamite) Opponent: Homero (Warner and @ndroide, DaMarioMemer AI Patch) Stage: Springfield Butte (Ruben, slightly edited by me) Music: Same as the Stage Now we are getting into the meat and potatoes of this video, starring with the original version of Homer by Warner, who started off as an edit of H’’’s CVS Iori Yagami, then was edited by @ndroide and then given an AI Patch by @damariomemer8230. I don't know if this is the AI Patch or not, but I don’t remember this character being this broken. You know how this character fights, but for some reason, he has these invincibility frames during his specials, and he can time when he does these specials when you are wide open, making it impossible to dodge him. With Jupiter, I had to play the distance game with this one, as I had to exploit his AI using her aerial electric sphere’s, which made fighting him a whole lot easier, as I can chain that into a projectile, into a special that can cause a lot of damage to him, but I have to time the move perfectly in order to send him flying back, which wasn’t easy. I think this patch should have an update that removes the invincibility frames from his specials, that’s all I have to say. Match 3 Starring: Towa (Chotto Komaru) Opponent: Evil Homer (Warner and Reu) Stage: Dreamland (GarfieldFan) Music: Same as the Stage We end our time in Springfield with a character I’ve fought in the past, Evil Homer, the infamous spriteswap of Reuben Kee’s Evil Ken. In the past, I managed to defeat him by comboing him before his AI could activate, but this time, I decided to allow his AI to activate this time and fight him fairly, as well as go into more detail against him. He fights like your average shoto, but his specials do a lot of damage when they land. He also warps around the stage using his Ashura warp, which he’ll use to avoid your attacks, however, it’s this move which is the center of the new strategy of beating him. I had to anticipate these warps and then at the right moment, counter him into Towa’s signature aerial combos, sometimes ending in a special that does a lot of damage, similar to the previous match. Overall, I had a lot to say about these Homers, despite 2 out of the 3 of them providing an actual challenge. Script: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1t...
