Making Data Science Work for Clinical Reporting: A new Coursera course!

Abstract The Pharmaceutical industry is adopting new tools and technologies, putting pressure on individuals to learn many new skills in a short period of time. In order to both promote these new ways of working, and to assist those adopting it, at Genentech we are building a new Coursera specialization. In this talk I will share details of the course which is already available today, and discuss new courses we hope to make available in the new year, forming a multi course specialization looking at data science in the Pharmaceutical industry. Presenter Biography Kieran Martin is the R Enablement Lead for PD Data Sciences at Roche. He has been at Roche for 8 years, and has been involved in promoting the use of R and the use of open source software during his time there. In his spare time he enjoys board and role-playing games.
