Recipe – Homemade Bird Fat Ball (approx. 400 g) You will need: approx. 50 g of tallow, melted slowly in a pot (you can also use Flott cooking fat) 150 g of shelled sunflower seeds 50 g of sunflower seeds with shells 150 g of peanuts Instructions: Slowly melt the tallow in a pot. Stir in the sunflower seeds and peanuts until everything is well mixed. Pour the mixture into a tall cup or glass. Insert a chopstick into the center, and gently tap the cup/glass on the table so the mixture settles. Place it in the refrigerator or freezer until it has hardened. When firm, place the glass in hot water for about 1 minute to loosen the fat ball. Remove it and attach it securely to the outdoor feeding station, for example by fitting it into a hole that holds it in place. REMEMBER: NO SALT OR ANY KIND OF SPICES IN THE FAT, USE ONLY PURE TALLOW ---- Oppskrift – hjemmelaget talgbolle til fugler (ca. 400 g) Du trenger: ca. 50 g talg som smeltes sakte i en kjele (du kan også bruke Flott matfett) 150 g solsikkefrø uten skall 50 g solsikkefrø med skall 150 g peanøtter Slik gjør du: Smelt talgen langsomt i en kjele.
