In this video, we are exploring tips to work on trauma healing and our finances. 1. Start with Self-Compassion Healing from trauma and facing your finances both require courage. Be gentle with yourself. You are not behind—you’re beginning, and that’s powerful. Speak to yourself with kindness, especially when facing fear or shame around money. 2. Track Emotional Triggers & Financial Habits Sometimes our spending or avoidance of money is connected to deeper wounds—like scarcity mindsets, lack of self-worth, or people-pleasing. Journal your feelings when you're about to make a financial decision. Ask: Am I trying to feel safe, in control, or worthy through this? 3. Create a Safe Routine Create a daily or weekly ritual that grounds you emotionally and financially. Example: Morning: 2 minutes of breathing + saying an affirmation like “I deserve to feel secure and abundant.” Weekend: Review your budget in a calm, non-judgmental space—like with tea, music, or a candle lit. 4. Build Tiny Wins for Trust When healing trauma, we often feel disconnected from our sense of power. Rebuilding trust in yourself with small, doable financial steps can be deeply healing. Start with: Automating a small savings amount Paying one small debt Creating a mini spending plan for the week 💸 Mini Budgeting Template Title: “Start Where You Are – Your Money Map” Healing includes facing your finances — not with fear, but with clarity. Instructions (add this in the guide): Use this simple template to begin organizing your money. You don’t have to be perfect — just honest. This is about awareness, not shame. Ask for Support, Don’t Isolate Whether it’s a therapist, financial coach, trusted friend, or spiritual mentor—healing and financial growth happen best in safe connection. You don't have to carry this alone. 💬 ✨ “If you're walking this path—healing from trauma while also working on your finances—I'd love to hear from you.
