The mosaics date back to the 2nd century AD. I visited this museum in June 2023 As I am interested in history - I was very interested! The area of the complex of Roman mosaics in Risan is 790m2. The villa is rectangular in shape, with symmetrically arranged living spaces. The central space of the villa is also rectangular, with a corridor leading to it, around which there are again rectangular interconnected rooms. On one mosaic is placed the god of dreams, Hypnos. This mosaic, in its own way, is unique - it is the only image of this deity in the world.
