We got the information that a Bell 429 gonna came to Hungary from Slovakia. The chopper brought guests to a hunting tour to the Bács-Kiskun county Hills. The helicopter refueled and stayed at Pécs-Pogány International Airport, we caught it there. The Bell 429 GlobalRanger is a light, twin-engine helicopter developed by Bell Helicopter and Korea Aerospace Industries, based on the Bell 427. First flight of the Bell 429 prototype took place on February 27, 2007, and received type certification on July 1, 2009. The rotor blades are composite and have swept tips and The tail rotor is made by stacking two, two-blade rotors set at uneven intervals for reduced noise, but fortunatelly the chopper still has the lovely 4 bladed Bell sound. The model became popular as an air ambulance, mountain rescue, air police, private VIP and light transport helicopter.
