We're still getting some R&R, but something a bit neat came into the shop today, so it seemed like a good idea to do a casual & fun vacation chat. We received in a new-in-box example of the Romanian Cugir WASR-10/63, untouched & in storage since at least 2013. The WASR10/63 hasn't been imported in over half a decade, and these rifles were assembled from original Romanian military PM-63 parts by Cugir using a new semi WASR type receiver. Trunnion dates ranged from the 1960s through the end of the Communist era. Because of this, some people over the years have mistaken these for 'preban' imports.
