In this video, I have conducted the mileage test of my 1-year-old Maruti Suzuki Baleno petrol Automatic(AMT/AGS). I got my vehicle serviced just a month ago(10k km service done). For this mileage test, I have chosen the Tank to Tank method to know how much fuel did the vehicle consume for the trip. My route and driving conditions details- Total KMS driven- 113.2 kms. Around 50 Km driving was in medium to high traffic(including some ghat sections). The remaining 63 km was in Low traffic(including highway and some city roads) The car is an automatic variant with 2 people onboard, and the AC was on all the time. RESULT- On refueling the car at the end of the trip, we got to know that it consumed 6.24 litres of petrol for a trip of 113.2 km. Resulting in mileage of 18.2 KMPL. For me, it was pretty good because I know that almost 45 to 50% of the running was in medium to high traffic conditions. And on a non-busy highway/expressway, I know it can easily deliver 20 to 22 kmpl of mileage.
