Welcome back! In this video, we're taking a look at a rebuilt and redesigned Stingray RC plane by Levon, now featuring a custom-mounted FPV camera! ​This iteration of the popular Stingray platform includes several key modifications: ​Custom Nose & Build: Levon kept the nose shorter and reinforced the motor mount with three strips of pine for stiffness. ​FPV Ready: The plane is equipped with an FPV camera, ready for a pilot's-eye view. ​3D Printed Parts: The wings feature 3D-printed servo mounts (designed by Jared) which are connected to the rudder servo for improved control. ​Power Setup: It runs on a 1500mAh 4S battery, providing around 3 minutes of aggressive flight time, and is powered by a 2200 KV motor secured with a large aluminum motor mount. ​Watch as we showcase its incredible flight performance! The Stingray is an exceptionally stable platform and is highly recommended for anyone looking to get into FPV, as it can be easily hand-launched and is perfect for flying in small spaces, even your own yard!
