My New Tax Plan To SAVE The Middle Class | No Federal TAX On First 100k Of W2 Income

On today's episode of The Freddie Smith Podcast, I share my proposed new tax plan and explain why I believe changing the tax system itself is the only realistic path forward. I walk through how I would: Eliminate payroll taxes completely Eliminate federal income tax on the first $100,000 of W-2 income Eliminate the corporate income tax Scrap much of the current IRS playbook by removing write-offs and loopholes to create a simpler, more transparent system This new system would consist of: A 30% flat tax on W-2 income over $100,000 A 5% gross revenue tax on all businesses — small, medium, large, self-employed, and independent contractors A 5% federal consumption tax While keeping capital gains taxes in place This would raise about 4.5 Trillion dollars in tax revenue and I believe overtime, it would generate enough to fully replace the tax revenue we have today.
