BRAND NEW from Springfield Armory is the new XDM Elite 3.8 Compact OSP chambered in the powerful 10mm. Up until now the Glock 29 has been the only compact polymer frame 10mm on the market. Springfield set out to change that and we believe this gun is going to find its way onto the belt lines of people in a big way. The Springfield XDM Elite Compact in 10mm has a 3.8 barrel, 11 round capacity, magwell, fiber optic front sight, fully ambidextrous controls and ours came equipped with the Hex Dragonfly Red dot. The gun itself will make an excellent backcountry companion bear country. This XDM 10mm is easy to shoot and very pleasant to shoot in 10mm. It takes recoils well and follow up shots are a breeze. At a light weight, this XDM Compact is nearly 10 oz lighter than a 1911 in the 10mm it’s easy to carry where weight matters if you are backpack hunting. The XDM Elite Compact 10mm is a direct competitor to the Glock 29 and in our opinion it offers you a lot more with almost a full grip. Glocks inherently handle recoil well due to their low bore axis and this Springfield XDM 10mm is on par. Don’t just take our word for it, go get one yourself and try it.
