He introduced the peyote plant into an Indigenous religion and led the way.. and became a leader in the Native American Church. He became a major leader in the Ghost Dance Religion and introduced a new peyote ceremony, with teachings of Christ. John Wilson was born into this world at some point, in 1840 and crossed-over, one final time to the Spirit world, sometime in 1901. His Caddo name is "Nishkû'ntu", meaning: "Moon Head."
