Happy 54th birthday to Magic Kingdom! This is my 12 minute loop of the rare Italian Band audio for the Magic Kingdom & Tokyo Disneyland versions of "it's a small world". This is one of several rare audio tracks designed for Magic Kingdom's version in 1971 by Disney Legend Buddy Baker. Unfortunately, it is no longer used in any version. At Magic Kingdom, it was used from opening day Oct 1, 1971, until the 2004-2005 refurbishment, when it was replaced with the 1964 Italian Opera music from Disneyland. At Tokyo Disneyland, it was used from opening day April 15, 1983, until the 2017-2018 refurbishment when it was also replaced with the 1964 Italian Opera music from Disneyland. I love that music as well, but I like how Disneyland and Magic Kingdom used to have different Italian music, both of which are great. I would have preferred if Magic Kingdom & Tokyo Disneyland kept the Italian Band and mixed it with the Opera music. Actually the Opera music can be heard here because this track was never released otherwise. It’s rare in that it was never released outside of the fantastic 2002 Tokyo Disneyland it's a small world CD. I am very glad that it was released there. The pictures were mostly found at various sources on the Internet. The only exceptions are the 2024 pictures of Magic Kingdom, which were taken by my wonderful dad. Huge thanks to my dad for taking a bunch of amazing pictures in the WDW small world. This is wonderful, especially because I wasn't able to get pics inside because I rode it 3 times and filmed it one of those times, and I knew I needed to fully experience it the other 2 times. At the end of the video are a picture and a few screenshots of Tokyo Disneyland’s Italy scene before the 2018 refurbishment. I hope you enjoy this great audio!
