Blending Jazz with Soul in this amazing version of 'My Baby Just Cares For Me' by Nina Simone. The low-impact dance-fitness steps are super simple to follow and there's a few balance challenges sprinkled throughout. I don't have very much room in my little Garden Studio to move very far to each side but hopefully, you'll get the idea and fingers crossed, you'll have more space than me to travel and really enjoy the steps. Our balance is one thing we can definitely improve and I can't recommend highly enough how important it is for us to work on it. Please don't worry if you wobble a little standing on one leg - you'll see me wobble a little. All sorts of things can affect our balance - being tired, having a cold, old ankle injuries, weak core, muscle loss etc. So just do what you can taking care to be in control and know that with practice, you will improve. (Maybe try standing on one leg as you brush your teeth - then you'll be working on your balance regularly). It's also so good to practice the cross over steps in the video where we move across the room from side to side - moving in that way where we cross one foot in front and then behind, encourages us to be a little more nimble on our feet so that if we do find ourselves tripping or losing our footing - we'll be more able to recover ourselves rather than falling.
