This year's event will feature the investiture of Dr. JoAnne Marie Terrell as the Kenneth B. Smith Professor of Public Ministry and Associate Professor of Theology, Ethics, and the Arts, as well as a lecture by Dr. Terrell. Beginning with a networking reception at 5:15 p.m. in the lower level of the church, the lecture and investiture program will begin at 6:00 p.m. Register here! Dr. JoAnne Marie Terrell is a womanist theologian, Kenneth B. Smith, Sr. Professor of Public Ministry, and Associate Professor of Theology, Ethics, and the Arts. She is the author of Power in the Blood? The Cross in the African-American Experience.
