A Southern Minnesota native, Phyllis grew up on a dairy farm where one of her chores was to run down the lane and bring the cows up to the barn for milking. In addition to her book, Thanksgiving in the Woods, she’s the author of A Simple Christmas on the Farm, Halloween in the Orchard and Easter on the Farm (forthcoming), all part of the Countryside Holiday Series from Beaming Books. In her spare time, Phyllis enjoys gardening, bird watching, biking, and kayaking. She also loves to explore small towns on the prairie and host summer tea parties under the enormous maples in her backyard.
