Classic 80s 90s Anime Style Cel Shading with Clip Studio Paint

My name is Dennis Pulido, an anime illustrator specializing in vintage and classic anime inspired by shows and manga from the 90s, 80s, and most pre-2000 era. I do this on my free time, while I work as a professional Graphic Designer by day. In this video, I used Clip Studio Paint, my favorite and preferred software for drawing anime and manga illustrations due to its illustration-focused drawing tools. Before Clip Studio Paint, I used Manga Studio, its previous iteration. I used the vector layer to create smooth sharp inks for the line art, while the raster layers are for the colors. I originally intended to just ink on the paper, which I did, except when I looked at the scanned image on my computer, I noticed how shaky my lines were that I had to re-ink my artwork in Clip Studio Paint. Vector layers give me the benefit of sharper lines, and the added tools of adjustable anchor points, the convenient vector eraser, and more. The base colors are separated 1 layer per color. This way, I could add the shading using clipping masks. But before I added the shading, I sketched the shading first using a colored pencil, before outlining them and filling them on a different layer. This way, I can plan out the shading on the entire figure, taking 3-dimensionality in mind, to create bold, dramatic, and confident shadows. Speaking of shading and also highlights, I use more than one layer of them to add extra depth, and to create that color vintage anime is known for. My hardware is Wacom Cintiq 27qhd, which I just received and it's HUGE. Watching my video, you may notice that for some reason, I am always drawing at the lower part of the screen - that is because I don't have a proper mount so the monitor is laying on its back and I have to reach out to click anything on the upper part of the screen.
