Island Preservation Challenge! You have moved to an island outpost that is heavily regulated with regards to resource extraction. The trees and stones are protected by law and may only be used for the construction of buildings on the island. Other trees are off limits. Fortunately, you are permitted to farm the open areas of the island. The docks have some basic services, but they will only buy products that are on pallets. Ships that come to this island can only export pallets. My chosen optional settings are in (). Starting Setup Purchase any property you wish to start. Set up any kind of temporary home to be used until you build the dream home. Objective of the challenge Own the map. You do not have to farm the whole map, but you must buy all the plots. Build a dream home (construction project) on the small island in the south-west. Constraints You may not sell any wood or products made from wood, but you can use them for your construction projects. For every tree you cut down, you must plant 5 saplings within the same year. You may not sell any stones or products made from stones, but you can use them in you construction projects. You may not develop the sandy beach with farm fields or buildings/pens. Minimal terraforming is permitted to get to the small island. Only palleted products may be sold at the docks. No chemical fertilizers or herbicides are permitted (think organic). No buy points are permitted. You can only buy what is at the docks shop. You may place any sell point, but it must be adjacent to the docks area. Notes & Tips This will likely be a long challenge, even at easy economy. Since you can only sell palleted products, be careful with your initial income strategy. Bales are not pallets! Respect the concept of the preservation efforts. Only cut & collect what you think you need for the construction project(s). The Farmer's Market buys almost everything!
