We set out with high spirits to conquer the Kareri Lake Trek, surrounded by snow-covered trails and breathtaking Himalayan views. 🌄🥾 But the mountains always have the final say. As the trail became deeper with snow, we faced a hard but responsible decision — to turn back due to the lack of proper winter gear, especially gaiters, which made further progress unsafe.
