The development of complex systems can only function successfully if all those involved take a systemic approach to work together in a well-synchronized manner. The goal of systems engineering is to ensure this, which also guarantees that communicating complex issues is clear, direct, traceable and verifiable.  Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) is the way of the future in order to be successful with Systems Engineering in increasingly complex projects and project environments. The added value of using MBSE lies in the simpler networking and the resulting retrievability of consistently stored information. This provides a better understanding of the problem for those involved and thus makes the complexity manageable.  In addition to a short introduction to MBSE in this seminar, Dr.-Ing. Stefan Schlichting, Dr.-Ing. Tobias Wigger, and Viviane Zimmermann will highlight the practical added value of MBSE in various projects.
