Spectacular Sports Day 2023-2024 The Pupil Saveetha Eco School's Grand Sports Day for the academic year 2023-24, held on September 15th, was graced by the esteemed Chief Guests, Superintendent A. Jayalakshmi, IPS, and Dr. Uma Maheshwari Rajasekaran, along with our beloved Director Dr Saveetha Rajesh. The day commenced with the dignitaries being escorted by the school band, setting a vibrant and energetic tone. The event began with the ceremonial flag hoisting of the National, Olympic, and School flags, symbolizing values of greatness, unity, and sportsmanship. The march past was led by School Council Members, followed by NCC Cadets, and contingents from the four houses - Aqua, Ignis, Terra, and Ventus, further adding to the grandeur. The Chief Guest ignited the Olympic torch and declared the sports meet officially open. Over 600 students from Primary classes showcased their talents with vibrant drills using various props, each performance reflecting the essence of our school. 286 participants of classes one to three left the audience in awe with their yoga asanas, promoting harmony of body, mind, and spirit. The event's pinnacle featured captivating gymnastics and taekwondo displays, showcasing precision, discipline, and extraordinary skill. The grand finale involved a prestigious prize distribution ceremony to honor exceptional achievers.
