Love Life was written by Rob Hirst, Peter Garrett, James Moginie, Martin Rotsey and Peter Gifford and was the second track and second single from Red Sails in the Sunset, Midnight Oil's fifth studio album release in October 1984. Best of Both Worlds was also the title track on the Midnight Oil album released in 2004.
