This incident happened during a Shark feeding dive - it was to attrackt a certain shark species to bring the closer to interested divers. What we don't see in this short Clip is, that the "Feeder" was literally sitting on the bait. He did it not the first time and was warned by other instructors who conducted a safe feeding for years. Here, the Sharks of Course wanted to get to the Food source and therefore got close to the Feeder started to Keep them away by punching the and poking them with a small Metall pointer. The Sharks obviously did not like it, but did not do anything for a while. ( Footage of the punching and poking is also available). Then, ...a week or two later the attack - Revenge ...whatever you want to call it, took place.The diver was not injured and just had a Little Scratch on his forehead. But a more than two meter silvertip Shark could easily bite someones face off, ...if wanted. So, this was in the end a very gentle "complaint" of the Shark. Well, first the Feeder is sitting in a Canyon where the Bottom is mostly sandy with some dead coral laying around.
