Howdy YouTubers!! Today we're taking the newest addition of the arsenal for a test spin. and it's gonna be the probably the toughest material for this type of tool to cut: aluminium. we're needing a chunk of aluminium plate for a welding jig to make the tool rests for the Tormek 2000 whetstone grinder and so we're going to use this saw to cut the material with. even Mr. Bozo pops in for a visit!! for those of you out there considering purchasing a saw like this: hooking up a vacuum to the saw is pretty important when running at low speeds like in this video as the saw uses the air for cooling to blow chips away from the blade. since the fan is turning slower and not forcing enough air thru the motor it has a tendency to run a little on the warm side. the vacuum helps evacuate not only the chips but also draws additional air thru the motor in turn cooling the machine down more. #ProductReview #FestoolTrionPS300EQplus
