It is recommended to take pictures during the repair process to use as a reference point. Be sure your TV is unplugged. Remove the screws and the back cover off the TV. Before removing the back cover, disconnect this cable from the main board. Flip up the back cover and also disconnect the cable to the wifi module. This may not be necessary on all TVs that use these LEDs. Push the clips through the chassis that hold the LEDs in place. In order to access all of the clips you may need to remove some of the boards temporarily. We do not do this in the video, but it is recommended to tape the speakers in place so that they do not move around too much. Disconnect the ribbon cables from the scan drive boards. Release and remove the bezel from the chassis. Release the scan drive boards from the clips and gently fold it up and tape it to the panel. Remove the panel from the chassis. Remove the panel by using a suction cup or by lifting from the sides of the panel. Do not allow the panel to bend as it may crack. Release the panel frame from the clips and remove it from the chassis. Tape the layers of diffusion in the corners and lift them from the TV. Slowly and carefully remove the reflector sheet as it might be stuck to the chassis. Peel back the tape over the LEDs. Disconnect the LED strips from the power supply cable and remove them from the chassis. Align the LED strips and secure them to the chassis with the clips and connect the strips to the power supply cable.
