In this video, the student goes through a decision making process with the client. The student demonstrates engaged client-centred decision making in which he uses his legal expertise, but balances it with respect for the client's wishes and preferred strategies. At the end of the interview, the student should have established a basic plan to move forward. The student demonstrates plan development and strategy while leaving room for changing circumstances. Remember, by the end of the interview, the student should be able to answer "who, what, where, when, why and how" questions about the client's legal matter.
