Angela using eyegaze and mom modeling PODD

Yesterday Angela tried out eyegaze for the very first time! Angela has significant visual issues mainly great difficulty with look and listen. This is why you will often see her turn her head to the side while I scan her PODD book. She just can’t get her eyes and ears to work in sync most of the time. Eyegaze games like these are an amazing opportunity for Angels to work on her visual attention to help better her communication of the PODD book and eventually her ability to two step switch scan her PODD which is our end goal. Next week or so we have the Tobii Rep come to the house so we can try out the PCeye Mini with Surface Pro to see if it’s a good fit of Angela. She did great with a Siah’s i15! Of course we asked Siah if we could borrow her device for a bit and he gladly said yes.
