High friends! In this video we are getting toasty, cooking some pasta and hanging out for a bit! Come hang out with me, cook with me and just vibe! Pasta con Broccoli Recipe (for 4-5 servings) Ingredients: • 3 cups medium shell pasta (about 12 oz) • 3 cups frozen broccoli florets • 2 tablespoons butter • 1 teaspoon minced garlic • 1 ½ cups heavy cream (plus up to ½ cup more if desired) • 1 tablespoon red sauce (for a light pink color, optional) • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus extra for topping) • Salt and black pepper to taste Instructions: 1. Cook the pasta & broccoli: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for about 3 minutes less than the package instructions. In the last 2-3 minutes, add the frozen broccoli. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining. Drain the pasta and broccoli together and set aside. 2. Make the cream sauce: In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Pour in the heavy cream and red sauce (if using). Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly. 3. Combine the pasta & sauce: Add the drained pasta and broccoli into the sauce and stir gently to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water (a few tablespoons at a time) to reach your desired consistency. 4. Finish the dish: Stir in the Parmesan cheese until fully melted and creamy. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper. 5. Serve: Plate your pasta and top with extra Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!
