In this video, I talk about switching from 35mm to 28mm as my lens of choice for the year. I've been wanting to experiment with wider focal lengths for a while now, and I find that 28mm brings me closer and makes me more engaged with my subject. Come along as I reveal which 28mm lens I'll be using on my Leica M240, and we take a look at some of my favorite photos from this week. We also take some time to discuss what makes 28mm such a special focal length, and explore the work and thoughts of one of my photography heroes, Mary Ellen Mark — someone who has had a major impact on the way I think about composition. This is only the beginning of our journey into a new perspective — let's see where it takes us.
